Finally had my long overdue kbox outing, and it was great! Could have been better, if my nose wasnt running, but not complaining! (: oh, and i did it all only because i took leave! haha, well, next week is my last week, and im already counting down! then its all rest and relax till FOC camp til vietnam trip til school starts. i cant wait!

Loneliness?
Someone's in malaysia for two days. it is just one night, but tonight, it's so quiet. the silence is killing me; the loneliness wears me down. it is that kind of feeling. i dont want to proclaim love, but the warmth she gives embraces me, like the fireplace in winter, no less. she claims herself to be the live radio, then ill be her avid fan. every moment spent with her, i sink deeper. dear cupid's got me in a chokehold. (if that aint love, then i dont know what love is)

would you risk friendship for more? -- if you were someone who values friends more than your partners, and the possibility of a relationship lasting forever is near to nothing, what would you choose? i do love her, but i love myself more. i have commitment phobia and love phobia. the past experiences still haunt me, and watching others make the same mistakes before me, i cannot help but doubt myself.

family day.
today is family day, as they proclaim; every second wednesday of the month is. so everyone is encouraged (some say forced) to leave work punctually. it was rather ironic that such rules had to be in place. aniways, it made my day. the thought of being able to leave at 6, maybe earlier, helped.

for most of the afternoon, charissa was crapping with me. she drew on my banana and i took a photo of that silly donkey for her. well, i threaten her to put it up on friendster to humour me. the funny thing was when kala (our permanent staff, so called our supervisor) came and joined in our conversation. i started complaining that the two of them should stop wearing the same clothes everytime and go shopping together. then we came to the consensus that people in the working environment thinks different. if you wear nice clothes, people will WAH you and think you have something important after work. then she also said she notice me wearing a nice shirt and cufflings on that particular monday. HAHA amazing! (bcos that's the day i went out with hueymin lah!)

lunch with the higher-class colleagues is killing me. we had to go to all the strange air-conditioned eating places to pay exorbitantly for mediocre (if lucky) food. furthermore, we have to fight the crowd and wait for our food.

i was just thinking through the question my brother's friend asked me yesterday.

"if you used to like someone in secondary school but it was one-way traffic then, and suddenly four years later, she starts to give you signs of hope, what would you do?"

it was a captious question to me, and i told him that as guys, we tend to give in to these kind of confessions. furthermore, i've liked her once, so its not that hard to fall in love with her again. then we started a whole chunk of emo chat, like to be loved is more fortunate than to love. but think again, i seem to be stuck in a similar dilemma.

BILLARD
dear gamblers, i've found a new game we can wager on next time! billard! i am already hooked on it, and i just learnt it from my brother's friend today! haha, so next time, we know what to do when we get bored of mahjong.

aniways, it is this simple game, like playing pool on a billard table. and everyone draw 4 cards, and the one who clears the ball no.s in his hand wins.

after a good recharge of nearly 16 hours of sleep on friday, there was obviously a need to go out to soak in the weekend fun and sun. saturday was shop-til-i-drop. it all started with some scrumptious kway chap at tampines round market, then we headed to vivocity, where i bought a new pink striped polo and another tee-shirt from 37degrees. *i have to admit i always have a soft spot for stripes. and shit we were supposed to be shopping for presents for our dads, not us. we supposedly could have k-boxed, but it was a pity there was none to offer in the big shopping mall. so by 4 we were done, then we moved on to town and started with some coffee at starbucks. nothing new lah, i met guang at HMV and she met her friend at far east. it was instinctive that i shun them to talk on the phone at one side while they chit chat. i just didnt feel comfortable. well at least i did get a goldlion shirt for my dad, and she got her dad a card, which is very funny (something along the line:- like thanks daddy for all the "money doesn't grow on tree" speech? with loads of animations) but see, guys dont spend $8.50 on a card.

after that, went to marcus' house for a short mj session. it was just one round, but it took us a record 4hours. worse, i was watching most of the time, 'cause i only won one game throughout. then i went to pick singyee up again for supper at simpang, which is quite crazy, considering we had already spent like 12 hours together. *haha. coincidentally, we get to catch barcelona concede a last min goal to espanyol and real madrid walking away smirkly with the title with a similar late goal to equalise zaragoza. DRAMA. you would have believed if i said it was the mafias in the act.

notice the new SONY ad? the one for their video-walkman. singyee was explaining to me what the ad was trying to portray. EYES(video, also portrayed by the gang wearing vibrant colors) vs EARS(walkman, the one which was quite retrospective in nature). it was drawing an analogy of romeo and juliet, where the two of them came from clashing tribes, but overcame the odds to be together. AH, chimology, you need a certain level of intellect to capture this, so nevermind! HAH*

sickly!
went to the doctor today. had bad fever and gastric flu. been staring at the computer too long too often, i guess. work has been insane, and i needed a break really. 3 more weeks! i want my last paycheck!

NO TIME
seriously a failure in time management. have promised zongxiang i will change the skin soon, so he can view my blog (well this skin is quite ugly aniways). have wanted to go clubbing, but work held me back, once again. just a short one, before i catch up on sleep.

i slept at 530am yesterday in the end. i was on the phone with singyee all the way. that nocturnal creature always sleep at that kind of hour, and seriously, if it was not for me, she would have slept even later, or not sleep at all. but i turned out to be quite a successful lullaby, so she eventually slept at the same hour and woke up at 7+. nuts.

i am feeling very off today. its just another of those days you left unplanned, just to catch up with sleep. the worst thing is i woke up at 1pm and i just could not sleep any longer. im awake, but not awaken. im around, but my soul isnt. being the nice me i always am, i was obliged to go for blading (i must admit, not my favourite pasttime) with shaun and huiwen (genesius not included).

i have been thinking alot lately, much of these unsaid, at least to most people. i like to make friends, but i hate people intruding my life. it seriously is SCREWY. it doesnt help to know that you just happen to feature in the person's life when he was most lonely. if i had a choice, i wish i had less friends, so i have more time for each. my eyes glow in envy, whenever i hear people say they are meeting their primary school friends. then again, i have learn to take things at its stride, and cherish everything of the moment. for yes, nothing lasts forever.

hey, i was seriously not getting emotional there! and i didnt really thought i sound like one emo-freak. SORRY! i have been very busy lately really; been saying i must turn in early, have 10 hours of sleep, rejuvenate, recharge. all these have not really materialise. its an inner feeling. my body's torturing my soul, and vice versa - i have dizzy spells all too often, headaches at work, dry irritated eyes, the cough that never heals, the sinus that gets worse and the voice that sounds ever so coarse. fatigue, exhaustion! haha, and im going to sleep a sound 12 hours after this post.

im feeling real blessed these days. thank everyone! and I OFFICIALLY declare im going to organise the next class gathering, pls show support. P.S. marcus, you better be the first to support this! (:
