retail therapy
Not so much that i believe in it, but fuck myself for misplacing my shoebag after the match last saturday. i drove my bro and WY to queensway, in hope to get the best bargains and didnt fail. (: CHEERS for the shopping gurus.
that pair of D-unks(junk) cost me $102. OUCH*-
now im just lacking my no.4 DHS jersey. oh i yearn to play soccer, so dear sky, please stop throwing tantrums, our fields need less hydration and craves more sunshine (:

maths for the rusty minds
charissa gave me this question she had to solve for her primary 3 tutee. here it goes: kenny has some apples. if he puts them into boxes of 3, he will have 5 more boxes than if he puts them into boxes of 4. how many apples does he have? P.S. you cannot use algebra (:
then i saw her ALGEBRA, and condemned her! hah, it was in a mess and she defined X as the number of boxes of 3? oh well, you get to the answer still, but, it's so unprofessional.
then i saw her MODEL, and with my INTELLIGENT inclusions, she managed to make her tutee understand. poor students of today, the problems just get harder, maybe my kids might know algebra in primary 1 next time. who reckon not?
basically,
-every box of 3 has 1 less apple than every box of 4
-the extra 5 boxes of 3(15 apples) are actually made up of the difference between the two.
-total boxes of 4 = 15
-check: total boxes of 3 = 15 + 5

my team!
check this out peeps- soccer hunks from dhs ! LOL, how efficient. talk about creating a blog to communicate match informations to the members on saturday, and tadaa* here it is! wenguang, the enthusiastic i-whiz, got it all together and with abit of help of the team manager, jason, and our part-time ex-newspaper guru, benny, the graduates of 2002 finally have a home! i cant wait to don that new maroon jersey we finally made after 6 years of 'PLANNING?' haha, after we had all left dhs, left jc and finished NS. nevertheLESS, never too late.

another weekend gone
Friday felt free and easy. i finally wore casually, ie that polo tee and some LP pants i bought impromptu on thursday. My colleague said i looked different, like i was going to do some street dance, but it did help to keep myself motivated @ work. After work, i went to hougang to meet guanhao and his friends for a late night soccer session.
Saturday sucked. Got lost on my way for my soccer match. I HATE IT. i only managed to reach there after the second half and i had to play substitute for the other team 'cos they did not even bring any, before i finally played for dhs. The sessions were getting more serious, 'cos they even implemented AAR (after action review in NS terms) so we can learn and improve from every match.
i didnt know scotts was gone until today, when eugene and i wanted green curry for dinner. SORRY IM NOT A TOWN FREAK, like i always say, i almost have everything in tampines, so why would i be? Shopping was ok, berms from pull and bear, long sleeve shirt from topman, grey pants from gap I DID NOT BUY; i wished i could. nevermind, i can seek consolation from the two graphic tees i got for giordano... yes. and im blogging from my lappie. PLEASE LET ME GET BACK MY COMPUTER TOMORROW!

feeling bored
After a super tiring day of work, guess what? i went to orchard to have a hair cut and FINALLY got that shirt i wanted so badly off the racks of ZARA. It was that simple- i just walked into the shop, grabbed it and went straight for the cashier.
My mother bought the new N95. i knew she has a soft spot for handphones; She just had to get the newest phone in town all the time. So as usual, i was able to get hold of an early preview of the phone. the 5-megapixels camera was a mega plus, and with wireless internet connection and GPS, the specs were beyond doubt. BUT - i still prefer my phone slick slim stylish. and, i cant stand LAGs so i like my handphone simple.
SO TRAGIC, i miss ben n jerry's FREE CONE DAY! That's something to get occupied with if I haven't got work. and beyond that, i can look at queuing for doughnuts at city hall or muffins at tanjong pagar, or even lining up to view the new condominiums at meyer road.

fulfilling weekend!
it was a great weekend yet again! first i finally get together with the dhs dudes for a soccer match with yitwoon's team. Finally - because it was my first soccer game since the operation, and also because they have been playing together for some time already, which i came to know only on saturday. We lost 3-2 after conceding a 85th minute penalty, but i was rather disappointed my name was not in the starting line up, even though i have not played for awhile already.
then it was the second consecutive weekend that i was having supper with my brother and his friend. last week we had beef horfun from geylang, and we had roti prata for saturday. at this rate, our bellys not going to go away anytime soon. thanks to his help, i managed to sell away my ancient magic card collection for 350$. Remember the times when we skipped meals just to buy them, how silly, but what's youth without some foolishness?
sunday was bball day with my brother's 'team'. it was prolly just a sun tan session, and by 'team', i thought the team had no flair and was plain leisure. Even playing against another team, they look lacklustre and unorganised. Who cares, I just need a good exercise and some sun.

rubbish
It seems like its never enough, regardless the effort we put in. It's not that we never try; maybe we tried too hard. I know I've said umpteen times, but still, I wish people could understand me more, and just be there for me. I cannot give anyone, everyone 100% of my time; neither am i asking for total obligation. I need to let all my friends know that, even though I may not reply all your smses all the time, and maybe we just suddenly break contact for a while, I STILL CARE. I'm so sorry I have bad inclination of not ending a sms-chat, so if you don't feel like replying me, 'k' will do, just don't leave it hanging in the greys. Please pardon me for my selfish ways, but everyone got one or two things they really detest right?
And I still don't have time to scrutinize everything wrong in my blog. I swear I'll spare some time. This weekend. maybe the next? or the week after next?
