coincidence
i met junda on my way back home. ironically, both of us are working, we get the same pay, but i was in long sleeves while he was in casual. AND he gets paid $18/h for OT, makes me wonder how much my OT is worth? - free

eugene's burfday
its eugene birthday today, so the three musketeers gathered to celebrate. well, alan and i met up at the last minute to buy his present, and decided on this topman shirt that is damn cool, and unlike his usual style (graffiti;eeks). i guess we have all grown up. RECALL those days BILLABONG, QUIKSILVER and OP were a hit among us, yet rather unaffordable. now i step into the same shops and get repelled after glancing a few designs. it was pretty funny, cause alan and i are strapped for cash, yet we were paying for his meal at waraku - it was unintended but we decided that it was rather inappropriate to ask him for the money, if he did not offer to pay himself.
we had a couple of hours before eugene was meeting his friend, so we went to starbucks for a mini talk-cock session, like those we used to have in camp everyday. i missed those days we suffered 'madam wong' and 'encik kiong' together! we wanted to check out the girl that eugene was meeting, but he refused to allow us. he even said,'i duno why i am going out with her when i dun dare to let my buddies see her' which make me wonder what he's doing again - his quest for companionship. *erps*

say 'NO'
i realise its important to say 'NO'- to things you don't need to do, don't want to do, don't have to do. i could have knocked off at 545pm today, but i stayed to finish up work for my colleague. this sense of responsibility stinks, damn. i better be my own boss in the future, or im sure to be enslaved by work and stucked in this cash nexus.

annoying
alan took MC today, when the workload was suffocating. i was annoyed not on the fact that i had to do all the work myself, but rather more because we were told about it beforehand. MOREOVER, i suspect he is not genuinely sick, but taking pre-emptive action to make sure he can go to his appointment in the evening. i've been one man show for too long, and i really cannot tolerate doing 2 persons' work and working OT everyday anymore. tomorrow, i shall leave on the dot, after i finish my part. i need a well-deserved BREAK.

work
i always find it uber difficult to start blogging, but once i start, i feel like i can go forever, filling in for past entries and more.
i've found a contract job and the pay's GREAT (never mind the OT, burnt saturdays). i was worried lest the workplace will be void of compassion and humanity. i always had the impression that office workers will tied up in their own work, putting up a grumpy face, like the whole world had offended them. but luckily, i've got none of that. and the other temporary staff with the same duties as me happen to be 35! (i thought he was 24.) at least he is young at heart, so we don't have problems communicating. he's like my adviser, in work, in life and everything. three months ain't a short time; the many interesting personalities in my workplace should make it a worthwhile experience!

tiring.
now that i've ORD-ed, freedom comes with a hefty price - financial independence. lazy me who always whine about camp, suddenly needs to work LONGER hours, see people's faces and occasionally eat ALONE! well, maybe because i'm the only temporary worker there now that my colleague is gone, but eating alone in RAFFLES PLACE is a chore! - i just cant join in using tissue papers to reserve a seat.
my brother bought a guitar last week, but both of us didnt even have time to touch it. maybe someone can take some time to teach me yeah! i TOTALLY cant stand people who blast their mp3s with their handphone on the mrt. its irritating, not mentioning hearing the same song throughout the whole journey.
im tired beat! lets hope tomorrow gerlin will call and bring me good news! (:
